A step to step guide from first contact with GEMI to receiving your production order.
Fill out the GEMI enquire now tab – add brief of what you would like to achieve with your collection /range, how many units, fabric needed and desired delivery dates. Inform us on your level of experience in manufacturing, this will help us understand how much assistance you require. On most occasions we require clients to have knowledge of the manufacturing process to adequately fill in specifications, orders and quality control forms.
GEMI will reply to your email and arrange a meeting.
Customer to email GEMI info@gemiproductions.com a sample order form, along with a detailed specification, any samples are to be posted to either the Bali factory or Melbourne design studio. Freight of samples are paid by the customer.
GEMI will email the customer a sampling Invoice, once this is paid in full. GEMI will source your fabric, print, dye, create your pattern and sew your samples.
GEMI will post the sample to the customer for approval, the customer to inspect the samples and email a sample approval form with any alterations or amendments. All freight costs are to be paid by the customer.
The customer to email GEMI info@gemiproductions.com an order form, including desired delivery date and any packing details.
GEMI will email the customer a production invoice, the customer is required to pay 50% of the invoice prior to commencement of production. Delivery dates will be agreed on between GEMI and the customer.
GEMI will start the production of the order, the customer may visit the factory at any time with a booked appointment. Quality control inspections will take place during the whole production process from fabric inspections – to final inspections.
GEMI will post a production sample to the customer, The customer will email a production sample approval form to info@gemiproductions.com.
GEMI will complete the production process and prepare goods to be picked up from the customer’s preferred freight company. All freight costs are to be paid by the customer.
Information provided to GEMI should be industry standard and clear.
